Our farm is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, about 60 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia. We are a small farm specializing in breeding African Pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf goats, both miniature breeds. We also offer miniature donkeys, poultry, Royal Palm turkeys, Guinea fowl, and Great Pyrenees puppies when available.
AFRICAN PYGMY
The Pygmy goat has African origins. It is genetically small, cobby , and compact. It's limbs and head are short relative to body length. It is full barreled and well muscled. The body circumference in relation to height and weight is proportionately greater than that of other breeds. The Pygmy goat is hardy, alert and animated, good natured and gregarious.
NIGERIAN DWARF
The Nigerian Dwarf is a miniature dairy goat originating from West Africa. They are gentle, loveable and playful. Many share pastures peacefully with other livestock such as cattle, horses, llamas, and donkeys. In fact, they will often improve a pasture by removing brambles, undergrowth and even poison ivy that other livestock won't eat.
